Who Am I?
How are you? My name is Julian Baker. I'm a father who's obsessed with graphic design, home labbing, nerdy tattoos, and hacking together whatever sketchy tech I can get my hands on. I am based in Fort Myers Florida, raising my daughter and working while I explore my many hobbies and try my best to break as few of them as possible. What do I do?
I am a man of endless interests at varying levels of skill. Including: graphic design (Blender, 2d in Photoshop, Lightroom, Ilustrator, etc.) video editing to homelabbing (Proxmox, Docker, etc.) programming (HTML, CSS, JS, TS, Java, C#, Rust, etc.) robotics (Building FPV Drones, 3D Printing, PC Building).
My goal Ulitmatly is to perfectly balance efficiency and aesthetics in all of my projects.
What am I up to?
At the moment I've been focusing on parenting, but in the free moments I get I've been deep diving into homelabbing, putting a lot of work into updating and fixing this site as well as working on my projects while planning for the future. Check them out! My focus at the moment is Hexfolio, a self hosted stock dashboard to run on docker in your homelab! It's very much so under development still but keep checking in, I am pouring so much effort into it! Recently I've been debating weather or not to hop on the Linux desktop wave with something like Omarchy or Nobara, but that sounds like a 2026 endeavour. (lol, endeavour)
